Annual Report

Good afternoon everyone, its my profound privilege to welcome one and all on this fun and activity filled Annual School function.

On behalf of the management, staff and students of PNPS, I formally welcome Our Chief guest Dr. CC ready Associate Dean , Students Affairs, IIT Ropar, Mr. .A.K. Kaushal guest of honour director IPS Kurali , Miss P.Sanger our advisor principal IPS Kurali.

We are really very pleased to have such a great educationist like Dr. Reddy with us today. I would like to throw some light on Dr.Reddy’s education, achievements and contributions.

After doing ME & PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Dr. Reddy joined, J-Power Systems Corporation, Hitachi, Japan, a joint venture company of Hitachi Cables Ltd. and Sumitomo Electric Company and served as a Senior R&D Engineer in its Ultra High Voltage (UHV) research lab. He made two labs, one for research and the other for Undergraduate students within three years after joining IIT Ropar. Apart from research he has keen interest to is teach and train the young generation to meet future needs of the country.

He has served as Faculty-in-charge of Guesthouse for two years and served several administrative jobs including Placement Adviser, RPEC representative etc.

I thank you sir to being herewith to grace the function with your valued presence.

I extend my feelings of greetings to Mr. Puneet Garg (Assistant Registrar , Students Affairs IIT Ropar) distinguished guests, school parents and our students to the function.

I start my school report with the school Mission Statement that always propels us to move ahead and ever.

Mission Statement

The management and staff of Panjab National Public School Behrampur seek to create the challenging environment to encourage the students for learning all required skills.

We, all work towards an integrated curriculum that targets self discipline of all age levels . The students are taught, guided and encouraged to meet the academic challenges with openness, enthusiasm and willingness.

We provide education that enables the students to be the refined & responsible citizens who can contribute to the society to make it healthy and sound. The school functions with the mission of leading its students to touch the sky.

The school believes in investing good & modern resources for the students which can help them to compete in the hi – tech environment.

The annual report showcases not only the achievements and glories of the school but also makes us think deeply about our short comings. We have always been committed to create an environment in the School that helps the young minds to blossom and provide a platform for the holistic development of the child’s personality.

The school has great experiences and achieved a lot with the blessings of God, dedicated teachers and professional management.

We set standards and goals for ourselves and strive to achieve them. If I look back a feeling of satisfaction comes as the school has now got the title of a Senior Secondary level.

Panjab National Public School is a premier English medium school of the area, It was started to impart the quality education when there was a scarcity of good schools in the area. It has been an English medium school since its inception.

As you all know in my nine years of association with this institution, I as the head of the institute trying to put my best efforts to make this institute stupendous. We have reached at this stage with the experience and dedicated team of Panjab National Public School.

Each year PNPS holds the Annual Prize distribution ceremony to honour the students who have made the school proud with their brilliant efforts not only in the academic field but also in co- curricular activities.

I would like to begin with our academic front Achieving academic excellence is at the heart of our endeavor as educator. The academic result of the previous year of our school has been really good. Harmanjeet Singh got the highest marks in Class X Board Examination. I congratulate Harmanjeet Singh and his parents for his achievement.

If I talk about the sports activities, Panjab National Public School is always ahead in the health and physical activities, our students participated in Punjab Education State Games, CBSE Cluster and CBSE Nationals. Our 12 students (Under-19 Category) played at the CBSE Nationals. Here, I would like to bring into your notice that our volleyball team reached at the Nationals by defeating 32 teams.

Now, I throw some light on PSEB Games & Sports, the students participated in Kabbadi, volleyball & Handball. After winning zone and district levels of volleyball our students played at state level games. Ms Harpreet outstanding player has been selected for the Nationals.

I congratulate all the players for bringing the laurels to the school. To honour these players, we shall call the students upon the stage.

The credit for academic and non- academic achievements firstly goes to my teachers and secondly to the students themselves.

Various Co-curricular activities are designed in such a way, that the students can show case their hidden talent to be dynamic & future ready individuals.

Some of the significant activities to sharpen the brains to meet the challenges of future have been a part of the school programme.

Vocational Education: Information technology is a career oriented subject that is taught in our school. It is a skill development course of four years starting from Grade IX to XII. It is approved and certified by the Govt. of India and valid throughout the world. Here I would like to tell you that our school is the first to offer this skill based education in the area .

Smart learning for better understanding with NIIT Digital Education system in which the students can learn from their homes and access the content of their curriculum.

The school is working closely with the other schools for teachers’ professional development. Students’ educational and teachers’ professional development is checked through the English Proficiency Test, Teachers Workshop and other opportunities are being offered to the teachers and students throughout the year.

Guest lectures by various professionals to make the students future ready, is also a regular feature of the school.

To ensure that our students are well equipped with knowledge to face the challenge, we have focused sessions on special topics including disaster management, Basic life support through life skill education, health and Hygiene, through Physical & Health Education, counseling, leadership skills, career planning and development through guest lectures.

Students’ regularity is another major aspect of parents’ traits. The students who have been regular throughout the previous years will be called upon the stage to honour them along with their parents.

Many milestones have been achieved and many still have to be reached. We at PNPS will continue on increasing efforts to mould the young minds into balanced personalities who can contribute to the society to make it healthy.

On this memorable occasion as we count our success with pride and happiness, we wish to dedicate all our achievements to the committed effort of a committed team called Panjab National Public School.

Before I close, I would acquaint you with our future plans;

If we see the school is fully filled with all the amenities and facilities. We added two more vehicles to streamline the transport system, but still we are planning to add more and more for the development of school and students.

As we look back it gives a complete sense of achievement and we hope that we will be in the other league soon.

Now I conclude my report while thanking the coordinators, teachers and above all my school management for their hard work and commitment to bring the school on this platform.

I especially thank the chief guest Dr CC Ready, Mr Puneet Garg, Our administrator Mr. Parminder Sharma, distinguished guests, school parents, teachers, students, Choreographer Mr. Rahul and his team , stage secretary and her team and Mr. Ashu for being with us to make this event successful.

My special thanks to our honorary Director Mr. A.K. Kaushal, our Advisor Ma’am P.Sanger for their constant guidance and motivation that always has been encouraging me and my staff to be on the path of professionalism & productivity.

I will be failing in my duty if I do not thank our Presidents Mr. Parbodh Kumar Joshi for supporting me throughout and to make this a success.
Before closing my report, I pray to God to keep this institution growing and prospering ever. I would like to inform you that the registration for the session 2019-20 are open.
